ABOUT GATHER SEATTLE

Gather Seattle is an inclusive community of creatives, designers, makers, foodies, entrepreneurs, and storytellers based in the Pacific Northwest.  We use the table as a platform for inspiring creative conversation and building connections.  We are a tribe, a network, and a welcoming friend group with a mission to support one another in creative and everyday pursuits.

We host monthly events at various locations around the city with an aim to connect, inspire, and nourish.  As a primary element of each event, we enjoy a plant-based meal and invite influential women and men to speak, share stories and offer advice on various topics pertaining to design, food, community, wellness, entrepreneurship, among others.

While we believe strongly in the importance of personal connections made face-to-face, we also see the value in building an online community.  We will be launching our membership program and online community database as an additional resource to help grow our community -- coming soon!

Chloe Csadenyi-Benson, Founder, and Creative Director

With a background in architecture and a life long love of cooking (and eating) Chloe started Gather Seattle with a desire to bring the local food and design communities together.  She is passionate about helping people discover their passions, meaningful conversation, plant-based eating, traveling, creative collaboration, and all things design.

Chloe's hope is that Gather Seattle will continue to grow into a platform where creatives and foodies can find connection, inspiration, and ultimately, make new relationships around the table.

When Chloe is not dreaming up ideas for the next Gather event she spends much of her time at parks, farmers markets, ferry riding, or simply scouting out a new local spot.

Alexandra Katz, Director of Design and Business Development

As a creative multi-passionate, Alex enjoys learning about people and different cultures, crossing items off her to-do list (name one thing more satisfying?!), photography, floral arranging, farmers markets, live music, travel, and seeking out charming, lesser-known establishments in any city she resides. She values meaningful interpersonal connections with others, and can think of few things more enjoyable than convening around a table to share a healthful, delicious meal with good company.
