Gather Seattle + Gray Magazine

$125.00

Gather Seattle and GRAY magazine are pleased to present Community Conversations: The Future of the Built Environment in Seattle, a dinner conversation and panel discussion with Seattle architects, developers, and strategists, who are committed to strengthening Seattle’s urban fabric through thoughtful development and design. While Seattle booms with new construction, how do we tend to the core of our city? How do we create meaningful spaces that engage the community and preserve the history while also constructing new environmentally and socially responsive buildings? How do we address homelessness and affordable housing? Speakers will address these challenges and more as they share projects that are positively shaping the city.  Please join us for this important and timely discussion on the future of Seattle.

In an effort to support and raise awareness for organizations that are are unleashing the power of community to end homelessness we will be donating event proceeds to The Block Project.

"The BLOCK Project invites community into the task of ending homelessness by building BLOCK Homes in the backyards of residential lots. Each self-sufficient structure will become home for someone currently suffering through homelessness. This innovative model unleashes the power of community by revealing that we each have a role in ending homelessness.  It empowers all of us to catalyze social change by creating change in our own lives."
